HOSTS NEEDED: Booking for Ch. 03 of Levi The Poet's Dont Sink Tour is officially underway!
Hey friends, Levi here.
I hope you've been well. If you've been following me on Snapchat recently, you'll probably have known that my wife and I recently got to visit Europe for the first time. It was quite the experience. You probably also got to see a lot of hilarious (or what I thought to be hilarious) snaps of our friend Jonathan, and his zoomed in face.
At any rate, before we left, I sent an email letting you know that we'd begun taking inquiries for the third installment of the Dont Sink Tour which we're hoping to start just over a month from now. Over this past week of being home, I've been in cahoots with many of you who submitted yourselves as potential tour hosts for the upcoming evenings, but the offer still stands: we'd love to hear from you if you think this night of community, coffee, conversation and performance would be a good fit for your town.
That link will take you directly to the details page for Ch. 03, and you'll find everything you need to know to make a decision there. With plans to begin just over a month away, we're hoping to lock the cities in as soon as possible. Specifically, we're looking for those of you interested in taking on the responsibility of hosting in or around some of cities / regions listed in the image below.
As a disclaimer, I understand that this blog doesn't apply to people in areas far removed from the routing beneath, as well. The point is not to bore you, or to annoy you. At the beginning of this year, I decided to put myself through an experiment as it relates to booking - essentially: crowdsourcing tours (you can read the whats & whys behind the process here).
Round One of the experiment was a great success, and it was wonderful to be able to connect directly with fans and friends and new faces in new places in the process. I suppose we'll see whether this turns into a good "two out of three", and take it from there, but I'd love to invite those of you who don't find yourselves in the route this time around not to be discouraged - I'd love to hear from you, too! If you read through the Dont Sink Tour guidelines and decide you'd like to be taken into consideration for future Chapters - or for entirely different kinds of tours - please submit your information through the form you'll find here, as well.
At any rate, I always want to end by thanking you for who you are. Those of you who have cared enough over the years to read through, or listen to, or - for some of you - even host events, are the only way this project has lasted. You're the only way any projects last, from the smallest artists to the biggest bands. You guys are the heroes. Thank you. We're looking forward to what's to come this year - whether you know about all of it or not. I think you'll enjoy it, too.
Talk to you soon.
