Release Day: The First Ten Years
Well guys, it's out. The First Ten Years — Alex Zarek's "Levi The Poet" documentary — can be bought or rented by anybody, anywhere, now.
Last night, we premiered the film with so many of you, and it was so much fun.
It was the first time Alex and I actually watched the documentary together, let alone with everyone else who joined us. To those of you who were there: thank you so much for supporting not just this release, but every single step along the way that made this a "this" in the first place.
I'm so thankful. Lots of laughs and tears (and a @st.francisthedoodle — my dog — cameo, of course).
There's a place in my book where I write about how people will be kind to you, and "sometimes, you'll even believe them." About how every now and then, you can even remember to appreciate all of this.
Thank you, Alex, for giving me the gift of remembrance, and thank you — friends and family and "fans" (God, I hate that word) — for allowing me the gift of getting to do this work in my life.
Hearing your experience of what it has meant to you is the thing that helps me remember — as cliche as it is by now — that it really is all worth living for.
All of my love.
Levi
