Work With Me
After 16 years as a creative writer, touring performance poet, author and multidisciplinary artist, I am now offering coaching and creative accompaniment. I call these meetings Coffee Dates.
A Word From Levi
I’ve come to realize that — as my friend Scott says — “my vulnerabilities are my super-power,” and the more I do this work, the more I recognize that scary-but-healing path as universal.
I write to make sense of my experience of life — to discover what it is that I actually think of the world — and once I figure that out, I share it with others in hopes that I might help them do the same.
The beloved poet Rainer Marie Rilke said that “at bottom, and just in the deepest and most important things, we are unutterably alone…”
But he did say “we,” so would you look at that — we’re still in it together!
I’m glad folks enjoy my writing — my art and my music and my poetry — but if I’m honest? I think what folks most enjoy is seeing themselves in the stories I’ve tried to tell.
After all… stories are the great blankets beneath which we all seek meaning and warmth.
Throughout the years, I’ve loved getting to share that warmth with others — to tell stories about what it is like to be me, and listen to stories about what it is like to be you, and bridge the gaps between us.
I can’t offer you a prayer rug that’ll solve your every problem — I’m not a guru or a sage or a savior — but I have lived a lot of life (and death) during my time on this planet. If I can help you do the same…?
I’d love to. Click here to shoot me an email.
“Your guidance in my life and work has drastically changed my life many times over. Your presence makes everything better, and your organizational skills have helped me actually put ideas into action.”

Book A Coffee Date
One-on-one coaching, creative direction & accompaniment.
Have a question? Is something inside of you asking to be born? A sense of curiosity about who-knows-what? Maybe it’s there, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. Don’t quite know how to orient yourself to the moment. Or perhaps you’re stuck - feeling paralyzed - and you don’t know why.
Maybe you need to explore an idea - a project or a song or a poem or a book - or maybe you need help organizing, structuring and acting on a vision you’ve already got.
What’s your life asking of you, today? What kind of creativity wants to come through you? And would it help to talk about it?
Let’s meet! And if you’d rather bring a bourbon (or a water) I won’t judge.
Focus Areas

"I have found a place in my community, through vulnerability, and it was thanks to Levi that I was able to discover this craft that I would have never pursued or found healing in—not just for myself, but for others.”
Joel
What can you expect?
I love what I do, and especially when it comes to working with people in this capacity.
My Coffee Dates are one-on-one creative coaching and accompaniment sessions. Think cultivation and mentorship meets experienced witness and actionable-next-steps. These meetings are conversational in nature and designed to help you think (and practice) your way through your ideas.
How does it work (and what does it cost)?
Sessions start at $125/hr. After three Coffee Dates, the price drops to $100, flat. Sliding scale options are available.
Ideally, we would commit to three meetings together — at least one per month — which would allow us to really get to the heart of what you’re after. That said, I’m available for one-off sessions, as well.
1. Tell me a little about yourself.
Please fill out the form below to let me know how I can help. We’ll get acquainted when we meet, but this will give us a head-start so that we can make the most of our time, and make sure each meeting ends with you feeling clear and equipped for the next step.
2. Book a start-date.
After reviewing your info, I’ll reach out to lock our first session down on the calendar, and book our follow-ups from there.
3. Work toward your goals.
We’ll create something actionable out of what’s emerging in you through our conversations. Sometimes, it’s helpful to have a hand to hold as we get our footing, and I want help give permission to what you dream of in your “one wild and precious life.”
4. Get help when you need it.
Get stuck? Hit a snag along the way? You’ll have access to me via private communication channels during the course of time together.

Self-Paced Writing, Storytelling and Creative Courses
My writing course — Clothes for Ghosts: Using Language To Give Bodies To The Haunted Parts Of You — is available for purchase here. Much of the content therein was inspired by conversations with the incredible humans I’ve had the privilege of bearing witness to through our Coffee Dates during the past four years.
Clothes for Ghosts is a self-paced, 16-module introduction to using writing as a tool for exploring and befriending your own story and — should you so choose — discerning how to pay that healing experience forward as the wounded survivor you are, with gifts to give to others who need the vulnerability and creativity you have to offer them.
Each module is paired with reflective exercises to help you embody what you’re learning, along with additional, curated resources and inspirations to help you deepen your own practice of becoming a transformed and life-offering presence to the world.
