The Mind Killer

Lent 2023 | Day 04 | Saturday, February 25

Week No. 01

I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons, situations, and conditions.

  • Welcome, welcome, welcome. I welcome everything that comes to me today because I know it is for my healing.

I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons, situations, and conditions.

I let go of my desire for power and control.

I let go of my desire for affection, esteem, approval and pleasure.

I let go of my desire for survival and security.

I let go of my desire to change any situation, condition, person or myself.

I open to the love and presence of God and God’s action within.

    Amen.

Quote Of The Day

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

- Frank Herbert

Song Of The Day

Prompt Of The Day

What does it feel like inside of your body when fear arises? Are you able to sit with it? To let it “pass over and through” you? Are you able to write about what you see in it, or what you see on the other side of it?
